Your most common reason for giving to us is your concern about homelessness:

“I used to live in Waterloo and had neighbours who lived in cardboard boxes.”

The majority of you also find our Christian values very important.

You are all extremely generous, with more than half giving to at least five charities (see graph below).

90% of you give to your church, closely followed by donations to environmental charities and overseas aid.

The personal nature of our grants was also important to you:

“I like the way you support people with training and grants so they have a good chance of staying off the streets.”
