When Taj had to leave home due to a strained relationship with his stepfather, he was faced with limited housing options. A place was found – but it required a move-in fee.
Thanks to a timely grant, he secured a room in supported accommodation, which offers him a positive environment in which to thrive. Now, Taj is working part-time as a SEN teaching assistant.
